Maintenance Release. When?

Post by Diego » Tue Jul 20, 2004 12:26 pm

Hi,
Any idea when a maintenance release will be available?
We're getting closer to the release of our product and we must have the help files ready. Any idea?

Regards.

The last TeeGofer maintenance release was made available a calender month ago today. We like to try and release at least one major release and three maintenance releases a year, meaning a release every three months on average.

I will speak to Marc Meumann, co-author of TeeGofer, to see if I can confirm an approximate release date for you.
Thank you!

Mmmm....
We bought TeeGofer to speed up help production. Currently we're having lot of problems with the product and help is being generated with lot of bugs too. We can't wait two months. The idea of using such a product was to quickly build help, but we found lot of bugs in this product.
Is it possible to get our company money back?

Thanks

Diego

I don't want to be rude. We can live with bugs found in the IDE during development. However, the product has a few bugs in the generated files (i.e. unchecked nodes that are being shown in tables) and we cannot include such a help in our product. I hope you understand. We've a release date for our product and we cannot wait two months for a maintenance release. If you send our money back we can try another product.

Regards

Hi Diego,

OK, I've spoken to Marc Meumann and we've agreed to send you the latest copy of TeeGofer.exe to you via email.

The latest version contains the following changes:
  • Bug fixes/changes
    --------------------

    1) Error when all assemblies removed from
    Project Options editor. Fixed.

    2) The base Interfaces of derived Interfaces
were not appearing in the declaration.
    Fixed.

    3) Overridden class members were being declared
with the virtual rather than the override
    keyword. Fixed.

    4) Delegate declarations modified.
Please be aware that members in the table is a design aspect that we have added as a feature request for evaluation at your request.

Please send me an email to chris@steema.com to confirm your email address and I will send you the TeeGofer.exe file.
Thank you!
