Test debug build available for download

Greetings, A test build for TeeChart for .NET v2 has been placed on the customer download page. The non-stable build will be updated regularly to serve for test purposes-only of inhouse builds between full maintenance releases. Only TeeChart library files and xml summary files are included in the in...

Hello, I've just tried to reproduce the steps you describe. There is a bug here. The issue appears to be 'Function' ancestry specific due to the way TeeChart internally tries to resolve the type 'Function', however we'll work the case through for a fuller look. Apologies for the inconvenience and th...

Hello Peter, TeeChart for .NET supports dynamic changes of language as long as the Character set is present on the machine in question. I would not expect any problem with codepage 1250 or 1252 (or other charsets for supported languages) but if you could point me to specific locations where the prob...

Hello, We still haven't identified a definitive cause for the problem, critical sections don't provide a robust solution. The error seems to be related the axis scale and refresh thereof under the weight of the load. Low frequency failures appear to have been avoidable here by removing fixed setting...

Hello Marco, Thanks for the info. Correct, TeeReg.exe shouldn't be used on a runtime installation. It provides a mechanism to install the Developer license only. Having installed it in a runtime machine does at least prove the point that the application is trying to resolve the license and is respon...

Hello, Yes, the critical section tested was internal to TeeChart. It's not one we'd like to leave there though as it's application would be general by nature and would affect performance. We'll take another look and see if we can make a clearer recommendation for an application based protected secti...

Hello, As a followup - as of now we still don't have a concrete TeeChart-internal solution to the problem you've described. TeeChart is Apartment threaded and theoretically as such thread-apartment-protected but seems to be susceptible to the loads in this test. One workaround option to avoid the pr...

Hello, We've spent some time trying to check on the cause of this problem without any clear conclusions, it's proved very difficult to track down. It does not appear to be a load/thread problem as such, as reducing frequency to extremely low values doesn't erradicate the failure though the point qua...

Hello,

This is possibly related to Axis management whilst adding data to the Line Series. We are investigating. As an interim workaround you may find the FastLineSeries better suited to this kind of data volume.

Hello Alex, TeeChart's EMF export uses Microsoft's Metafile format. eg. System.Drawing.Imaging.Metafile using System.Drawing.Imaging.EmfType.EmfOnly We will probably introduce EMF+ support for TeeChart for .NET v2. Older WMF format, now not supported in TeeChart for .NET, is superseded by the curren...
