Re: Draw Rectangle based on DateTime

Hello, I did a mistake passing the left parameter in the draw rectangle method. The following code works fine even if you pan over the Chart. You can also draw several rectangles (areas). private void Chart_BeforeDrawSeries(object sender, Steema.TeeChart.Drawing.Graphics3D g) { var tmpHour = Utils.G...

Re: Draw Rectangle based on DateTime

Hello, you could do it by using the OnBeforeDrawSeries event, for example : Chart.BeforeDrawSeries += Chart_BeforeDrawSeries; private void Chart_BeforeDrawSeries(object sender, Steema.TeeChart.Drawing.Graphics3D g) { var tmpHour = Utils.GetDateTimeStep(DateTimeSteps.OneHour); Rectangle rect = Chart....

Re: How to limit pinch-and-zoom in Xamarin

Hello Robert, we've already added a new OnPinch event for Xamarin.Forms. It'll be available for the next maintenance release which will be published very soon. But, in meantime you could use the OnBeforeDrawAxes event in order to check the minimum and maximum axis values and force a setMinMax for ax...

Re: TeeChart for Xamarin.iOS 4.16.12.12 available

Hi roey, you should be able to do this by using the OnBeforeDrawPoint event of Series. Here an example : var bar = new Steema.TeeChart.Styles.Bar(); bar.Marks.Visible = false; Chart.Series.Add(bar); bar.FillSampleValues(4); bar.Pen.Color = Color.Red; bar.BeforeDrawPoint += Bar_BeforeDrawPoint; priva...

Re: Clicking on series does not always trigger the event handler

Hello maX, ok, I'm going to prepare an example that allows to show detail of data when the user taps over the series point and also that allows to scroll horizontally. I'll send asap. What is the meaning of ClickBackground return boolean? The event is defined as UITouchEventArgs which comes from the...

Re: Clicking on series does not always trigger the event handler

Hello maX, I'm glad to hear you've found a good solution to the problem. Just let you know that we've been working on this area (improving the gesture event handlers) and also added a new ClickTolerance series property in order to help in these cases. Changes will be included into the next maintenan...

Re: Scrolling for Xamarin/iOS

Hello maX, you've two ways to add horizontal scroll to the Chart. You can always set a value to MaxPointsPerPage property, this will automatically separate the number of points by different pages allowing to scroll by panning, or by using specific buttons to call for previous or next page. The code ...

Re: Xamarin.iOS Legend Checkbox behaviour

Hello, ok,TeeChart for Xamarin.iOS allows custom drawing on canvas by using the onafterdraw event (draw shapes with colors, texts, etc..), but due to limitations for this specific platform I would suggest to create your own legend at the desired position (just below the Chart for example) by using a...

Re: Xamarin.iOS Legend Checkbox behaviour

Hello, I'm sorry, TeeChart for Xamarin versions do not include the Legend CheckBoxes feature due to differences between each platform at the time to incorporate the CheckBox component to it. This feature could be added as a wish for the next future releases. In meantime a workaround would be to do a...

Re: Marks Overlapping

Hello, ok, I think the problem could be related on when calcxposvalue and calcyposvalue is done (inside the AfterDraw event). Using the following code all the marks seem to be correctly displayed if these overlap, and also scrolling. Please check the code and if the problem persists let me know so I...

Re: Marks Overlapping

Hello, I've been checking more exhaustively the problem, and just want to give you a better solution to the problem. In order to correctly draw marks at a custom position you should call the RepositionMarks methid at the OnAfterDraw event, but the method has to update the marks and arrow positions t...

Re: Marks Overlapping

Hello,

have you tried to refresh the Chart just after the "for" inside the repositionMarks method ?

Code: Select all

            Chart1.Chart.Invalidate();

This should make to repaint the Marks.

Re: change color of labels in circular gauge

Hello,

it's strange, I've just tested it here with the same version and it's working fine using :

Code: Select all

gauge.Axis.Labels.Font.Color = Color.Blue;
or with another color.
Does this happens on both iOS and Android ?
